Harassment, on the other hand, involves unwanted behavior but is generally milder and lacks the dominance and persuasion elements found in bullying. Harassment can create an inappropriate atmosphere but may not have specific aims like those in bullying cases.

A hostile work environment is a result of harassment that makes it difficult for employees to perform their duties. It encompasses unwelcome conduct or comments based on various protected characteristics, such as race, religion, or age.
