The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Miami is one of my favorite places to visit.
During a recent conference at the estate, I enjoyed the food, ambiance and some time at the pool.
I walked to the downtown area of Coral Gables, Miami, Florida to the Miracle Mile where there are beautiful cafes, restaurants, shops, and art galleries. One of my favorite finds was Seasons 52 where I ate rainbow trout with a key lime mini dessert.
Along my walk back to the Biltmore, I found a roundabout with a fountain. Walking through the tree lined streets of the neighborhood, I found a multitude of parks and places to rest in the shade. One park even had a water mister right next to a drinking fountain for those hot Miami days.
This was a utopia experience, as I walked and walked even late at night. This is only a stones throw from the Miami airport and a great vacation spot!
