As a Christian, you may have heard the phrase "happiness is fleeting" or "joy is not the same as happiness." It is a state of being that is rooted in our relationship with God. As the psalmist says, "In your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore" (Psalm 16:11).
