Fine Dining: Zefiro
A Culinary School: Mexico City, CDMX near Zocalo
I was pleasantly overwhelmed with a 4 course early dinner at Zefiro. They also have an a la carte menu. Service was impeccable. They have monthly highlights so I plan to go back during my next visit to CDMX.
Tamale stuffed with corn and creme fresh.
Pozole…the bone broth was amazing.
Local white fish with green rice in a carrot puree that was delish.
Assortment of desserts with lemon and cheese.
There are amazing restaurants in CDMX, including Pujol in Polanco that are on my list to visit. Also on my list at the Zocalo for the view is Balcon del Zocalo. I did have a wonderful hot chocolate at the Sear’s Tower rooftop cafe across the street from the Palacio des Bellas Artes. Traveler tip: They open 11am.
