With customer service we train our teams to focus on making the customer happy. Have you ever had a horrible customer service experience? What contributed to the situation? My research shows happy employees, make happy customers, resulting in happy investors. This is the actual business model for Southwest Airlines, and they have a happy workforce.
In this course, I bring my 30+ years in the mental health industry to teach employee development from a well-being perspective. Imagine giving incentives to your managers including monetary gain when they increase the happiness in their team. When we feel good, we treat others well. When we are cranky, have not slept well, are tired or feel lonely; this rubs off on others affecting our performance in work and life. When a culture of belonging is created in your workforce, people will look forward to work, being with you and co-workers and serving customers.
